This course covers best practices in consumer credit disputes, identity theft resolution and identity protection. Participants will explore the dispute process as well as common myths and misconceptions around credit disputes, while also unpacking fraudulent and illegal practices to avoid. In addition, the course will cover the ins and outs of identity theft, including new legislation and identity protection strategies. After completing this course, coaches and counselors will be prepared to help their clients navigate their way through successful dispute and identity theft resolution and identity theft mitigation.
