About the Course

The Credit as an Asset training is designed to help non-profit community-based organizations and financial capability professionals enhance their understanding of credit building as an asset-building strategy as well as best practices in credit education. This interactive workshop will provide participants the opportunity to learn from each other and credit experts about the growing field of credit building including:

  • The importance of a good credit history as a financial asset;
  • The value of credit reports as a credit education and credit building tool;
  • Promoting access to responsible financial products; and
  • Measuring participant and program credit outcomes.

Individuals who complete the course, including all quizzes, will receive complementary access to the Credit Building 101 curriculum, available in both English and Spanish.

This course is now approved for 9 CEUs for AFCPE ® Certified Professionals

Dates and Times

CBA will provide this course in three 3-hour live webinar installments. The webinars will take place from 12:30-3:30 pm (ET) on Wednesday, August 17; Monday, August 22; and Wednesday August 24.

If you miss a session or wish to review a session, all of the course information will be updated on this course homepage. (Please note that you will need to be logged in to view course information). Webinar recordings will be available within one week of the live event.

Each webinar will be accompanied by a short quiz to enrich your learning experience. You must complete and pass all quizzes in order to receive a Certificate of Completion and access to Credit Building 101 at the conclusion of the series.
