CBA recommends taking the CREDIT AS AN ASSET™ course first, as the small business credit course builds on concepts introduced in the general credit building course. You’ll receive a certificate of completion for each course.

In CBA’s signature credit building course, learn more about how the American credit system works, why credit building matters, how reports and scores are generated, the role debt plays in credit building, and how to put your participants’ goals at the center of their personal credit building strategies. This course is approximately 6 hours and includes a final certificate upon passing the final course quiz.

CREDIT AS AN ASSET™ On Demand is intended for credit building professionals including financial coaches/counselors and nonprofit lenders that offer credit building programs and services. CREDIT AS AN ASSET™ On Demand is intended for credit building professionals including financial coaches/counselors and nonprofit lenders that support entrepreneurs’ and microbusinesses’ credit needs.

Once you finish each course, you'll also be granted free access to a set of presentations, guides, and activities on credit building that you can use with the participants you serve. These materials are available in English and in Spanish.

You will have access to this course, resources, and downloadable materials for one year from the date of enrollment.
