As a sequel to the ever popular “The Quiet Crisis: The Role of Student Debt in Perpetuating Disparity, and How to Overcome It” webinar from earlier this year, the Student Borrower Protection Center returns to CBA’s Webinar Series, this time to offer a hands-on, train the trainer around student loan repayment.
Navigating the student loan waters is no easy feat and one that over 44 million Americans are saddled with carrying. With over $1.6 trillion in national debt and 1-in-4 borrowers behind on payments, it’s clear that the system is at flaw. In this interactive webinar, the Student Borrower Protection Center will guide practitioners in understanding the life cycle of student loans with the intention of managing and (hopefully mitigating) the debt through education.
Join us for this not-to-be-missed webinar and walk away with a new understanding around everything from distinguishing between loan servicers, to accessing public and private options, to navigating the road to repayment for both student loans in good standing as well as in default status. Lastly, an overview of various loan forgiveness options will be previewed.
This webinar is part of our Members-only Series, a benefit of CBA membership. Non-members interested in the webinar can participate for a nominal fee by registering here.
