Navigating the Fintech Product Marketplace

The past few years have seen an explosion in new financial products and services powered by technology, known as fintech. While fintech can contribute to increases in financial service access and inclusion and, in some cases, be more cost-effective and efficient than traditional financial services, navigating the plethora of products out there can be daunting.

To help us unpack this, we will hear from Change Machine and FAIR during this session. Change Machine’s Seal of Inclusivity provides a framework that can support practitioners and their participants to identify appropriate, right time, and right place fintech products that can build financial security and well-being now and in the future. FAIR is a program of the nonprofit, Prepare + Prosper and offers financial products nationally. As fintech covers a breadth of areas, our focus for the purposes of this conversation will be on credit building mainly. Walk away with tools for how to evaluate and integrate fintech into your work with participants.
