CBA Forum - Terms and Conditions

We appreciate your participation in the CBA Community Forum. To ensure the best possible experience for all Users, we have established some basic guidelines for participation.

By joining and using the CBA Community Forum (“Forum,” “Site,” or “Community”), you (the “User”) agree that you have read and will follow these practices and guidelines. Content that you post should be relevant to the subject of the Forum and should encourage a collaborative discussion around credit and credit building.

Please take a moment to read and familiarize yourself with these guidelines. For additional questions about the Forum, please reach out to the Training Institute team. To create and preserve a community of learning, dialogue, and respect, Credit Builders Alliance reserves the right to suspend or remove Users who violate these guidelines.

Guidelines and Required Practices

Always respect others. Discussion should focus on the content not the person. Practice respect and patience with newer Users who may have different opinions, experiences, and skills.

All posts, materials, or comments that contain abusive, defamatory, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal content are strictly prohibited and can be removed from the Forum.

Respect the purpose of the Community as a space for learning and collaboratively sharing information, goals, and constructive feedback.

Information shared on the Forum is not confidential and Users should avoid posting anything they do not want other Forum Users to see, including personal details or contact or location information.

Do not share identifying information about program participants including names, addresses, financial information, or documents containing such information on the Forum.

Share don’t sell. This Community is a place to build networks and share information about credit and credit building programs and products. Posts and content that directly solicit purchase of services or excessively market paid opportunities can be removed.

CBA’s focus is on building and understanding credit and on identifying best practices in accessing safe and responsible credit products. Posts that promote predatory financial products or services, including credit repair, are not permitted on the Forum.

Take care when discussing products, services, and service providers. Identify and share personal experiences respectfully and focus comments on the relationship between the product or service and credit rather than opinions on the character of the service provide or any individuals. If you provide a product or service, you may respond to clarify information about the services you provide, but do not use the Forum to solicit your services.

Content within the Forum may be available for all Users to see and is subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws. Posts or comments should not encourage Users to arrive at an agreement that either expressly or implicitly leads to price fixing, a boycott of another's business, or other actions intended to illegally restrict free trade.

Respect intellectual property rights when posting on the Forum. Only post content that you have created, own, or have permission to use. Always obtain permission and include proper attribution to the content creator when sharing content that is not yours. If materials or information is not available for use or sharing beyond the Forum, please indicate this when posting.

Identify and use the appropriate location for your post rather than posting multiple times. Posts that are identified as duplicates or spam can be deleted by CBA staff or moved to the appropriate location.
